PAINTING COURSES: POOLE & PURBECK AREA – 2022

Stoborough Village Hall

Mondays 1.30 – 3.30pm

Wanting to paint in 2022? Then come and join a friendly group at Stoborough Village Hall on a Monday afternoon, 1.30 – 3.30, for £12 a session.

Starting 10th January. Watercolours or Acrylics or any other medium.

Bring your own materials and a mask to wear when walking around the room please, email Penny to book your place –  info@pennywilton.co.uk

Tea and coffee supplied.

There will be a few changes to the classes. Please pay each week instead of for the term, cash or card or bank transfer.

Please let Penny know that you have had your vaccinations. You will be recorded for track and trace and details kept with Penny. Please ensure that you do not attend if you have a high temperature, cough and loss of taste and smell.

2022 SUBJECT LIST

Our list of subjects for the 2022 is as follows:

  1. A light house and a yacht.
  2. Continue.
  3. A bird.
  4. Dorset scene.
  5. Continue.
  6. Spring flowers.
  7. A painting using Ultramarine and burnt Sienna only – plus white if using acrylic.
  8. A Still life of your own choice, look a Morandi, Picasso, Matisse.
  9. Music and painting – bring headphones if you want to listen to your own music on your phone, large pieces of paper, paint, big brushes and no photos, just enjoy the automatic type of painting! Look at Kandinsky, Emile Nolde, read about synaesthesia.
  10. Pen and wash any subject.

    The course at St Joseph’s will be a different list, as there are 3 different tutors there, you will be told each week what you will be doing the following week. The first week it will be a lighthouse and a yacht.

Painting Course, St Joseph’s, Poole – with Penny Wilton, Sue Smith & Barry Kavanagh

Starting 11th January 2022, 10am until 12 noon at St Joseph’s, Branksome, Poole, Dorset. [UPDATE: SORRY, THIS CLASS IS NOW FULL].

Car parking off Archway Road (BH14 9AZ), bring all art materials, watercolour, acrylic and mixed media are suitable.

Tea and coffee supplied, Demonstrations and individual coaching by three excellent tutors.

Pay weekly £10 per session.

A variety of subjects, you will learn from the demonstrations and any standard can join.

Holt Village Hall Workshops with Penny Wilton 2022

Please let me know as soon as possible if you intend to come to the classes on a regular basis and I will put your name on the list. Email your details to info@pennywilton.co.uk, give any dates that you will not attend please.

Holt workshop days will run once a month. The classes are from 10AM – 4PM and are £30. Card or cash payments please.

Penny demonstrates techniques in various mediums, gives help throughout the day and will inspire you with ideas for a great painting.
